When your teeth show signs of discoloration, a whitening treatment can revive their original brightness. Tooth discoloration can be influenced by many factors, including age, genetics, smoking, chewing tobacco, dark foods or drinks, caffeine, and the onset of tooth or gum disease. Willow Springs Dental can prescribe a whitening treatment that works best for you, depending on the level of discoloration, how your teeth became stained, and the level of whitening you want to achieve.
You can whiten your teeth with at-home kits, in-office bleaching treatments, porcelain veneers, and dental bonding. Many over-the-counter products claim to whiten teeth; however, it may take months of dedicated use to see any difference in your teeth's color.
We are proud to use Zoom 2 for our in-office bleaching. If you prefer at-home treatments, the bleach we prescribe will brighten your smile by four to ten shades when used properly.
Teeth whitening has many benefits:
- The results of whitening are noticeable and fast
- Teeth whitening can work around your schedule with fast in-office treatments or convenient at-home kits
